I bought this for a gift to my brother and I asked store employees if you can play all games on it they said yes. I got home made sure it worked and I can’t play games that need Xbox series S or X graphics on it.

Would have been better if the transfer speed was faster, but that is my fault for not paying attension

I bought this for a class in college and they needed me to do a backup on a external and I would say this is a good external hdd.

Larger capacity hard drive, but I am not sure it is as smooth as my old 2TB Passport. We shall see...

Slower Data transfer compared to full size in external WD black with external power.

I wouldn't recommend buying this for speed but it basically works to store data.

This Hard Drive is supposed to work with gaming consoles. You can transfer games into it, but you cannot play them from this hard drive without causing a lot of stress on the gaming console. It draws power from whatever you plug it into, which causes the console to work twice as hard regardless of whether you are playing games off of it. It’s now sitting collecting dust.

A bit overpriced but easy to set up & operate and use

It doesn’t store games or or help you process game or ps5 storing compatibility. It’s an extra space for only Storing information

Just wish I had time to use it more. Probably buy another one.

It works great as my PS5 external ssd. Plug and play

I purchased this back in October and I use it as a backup to hold over 300,000 photos and it has already crashed, not sure I would trust this with my personal data.

PS5 will not store games on this hard drive. PS4 games can be stored an played from this hard drive.

Bought it new at best buy wouldnt work when i plugged it in. Tried formatting it and said fatal hardware error.

bought this product back in 2019 in November and it crashed on me less than a month later. I contacted WD to see if they would warranty the item and they were of no help. Would've rather spent the money on a Seagate hard drive which would've lasted much longer.

Worthless drive, crashed after 3 months, when I have at least 20 other similar drives from other manufacturers which have lasted years and a lot of abuse. Grossly disappointed in WD and lack of quality.

Bought this to backup my work files into one drive as I work both in the office and mobile but the drive failed on me and I was unable to recover my files. Wonʻt be purchasing this again and looking for a more reliable drive.

This hard drive was supposed to perform better than other portable WD external drives, but it failed within two months of purchase. Luckily I had a backup. But it is past Best Buy's return/exchange window so I will likely have to try and go through WD to get a replacement.

stopped after 33 days store won't exchange or honor their warranty will not ever buy from the store western crap is what it is
