It's a must have especially since The Sont Playstation 5 will play PS4 Games and you store all PS4 & PS5 Games!

Purchased this for my Son, his PS5 was running out of memory. Basically just plug and play, works perfect, no issues and now he has plenty of storage space.

I purchased this for my son who had recently bought a PS5 and needed that extra room. It was on sale and he has no issues in transferring his games to the extended storage.

It’s a western digital black! Fast reliable and great quality. I’m not using this as a gaming drive but just as a regular external hard drive. I was able to purchase this at the same price as the my passport line And get a much better drive for the same money. The big negative here is that it’s not USB-C.

I've now got another 15 games and going for my XBox one. The USB 3.0 is blazing fast and hasn't caused any gameplay issues. Easy to set up and get playing.

I bought this for playing games on my Xbox One S and awesome to just plug in and be carefree of storage space. 4TB is definitely plenty and is a must have for any Xbox

Got this drive for my Xbox One and it has lots of room for my games. At first, I was worried about it never turning off, but it goes into standby mode about 1 minute after the Xbox goes shuts down.

Got it for my sons PlayStation 4 he has a lot of games so he didn’t have enough room to download them all . Now his got all of them on there and has room left for more games

Great for a series s since they only come with 500gb 4tb of space saves me so much time

I bought this to replace the WD EasyStore I was using on my xbox one x. I timed MW on both from dashboard to game menu. The Black was 20 seconds faster. Very happy with this and well worth it.

Works perfect for the series S to store older Xbox games and no need to transfer back and forth to play. However any next gen games will need to be transferred

I use this drive for full backups of my PS4 which I put a 2 TB Samsung QVO SSD in. Works great! Not as fast as an SSD but it is notably quicker than the low end WD I used before.

the WD Black series doesn't disappoint. I use it for all my PC gaming and there is minimal loading lag. The drive is not noisy and it's solidly built.

Much to my dismay, I found myself running out of stowage when huge game updates came out. I had started out with 1tb in the Xbox and 1 gig USB 3.0 external drive. This particular external drive, I believe, is made for intense gaming where the drive has to read and write almost continually. I was amazed how much faster / quicker this drive was loading the game and data in comparison to the earlier 1 gig w/d drive. Dollar for dollar, a wise investment as COD Black Ops, Rainbow & Pubg along with others have huge maps, characters and multiplayer options.

Great choice! I recommend buying this for your kids or any family member who loves gaming or PS5.

Its really great to have along with your gaming consoles when you're running out of memory due to the huge updates that come along the COD games.
