Excellent External HDD For PS4 For Extra Storage

Bought this for my PS4 for extra storage and now I don’t have to pick a game(s) to uninstall just to install a new game! I got it cheaper here at Best Buy at time of purchase. It was the same price as a 4TB that Target had for the same price! I’ve never had any issues with WD! They make excellent products.

5TB for previous gen games on new consoles

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought a couple of these on sale. 5TB drives for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 means I can dump all downloadable previous gen games on these drives. They run around 125mb/s at best, which is nothing special, however I've come to reply on Western Digital's Black drives for gaming on PC. Despite the title marking, this drive works with PlayStation, Xbox, PC, etc. It just has PlayStation mentions on the box, nothing special about it. The WD Passport 5TB is pretty much the same thing, so buy whichever is cheaper or you like the look of more.

You have to download the game from the hard drive to the console, then play....Ehh..

Great hard drive

Has plenty of storage space and allows me to keep my games off the hard drive. You can boot up ps4 games straight from the hard drive and loading ps5 games takes a fraction of the time
