We was able to upload our games from our PS4. I was upset at first when I found out after buying the PS 5 we needed this but it has become very handy.

The one I bought was advertised for the PlayStation 4, but I reformatted and have been using it with my gaming laptop. Performance is decent considering it's a portable spinning hard drive, and 5 GB provides a lot of room for large games and downloads.

I used it for all of my Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One titles on my Series X. You can also store Series X games on it but they are not playable off the external drive.

Everything transferred perfectly and I have plenty of space to store extra game data without filling up my internal drives. Highly recommended.

My only wish is that you could run PS5 games from it, but that is a minor complaint and more of a Sony issue than a WD issue.

It is fast and reliable I got a 5TB which is enough for storing all my games.... This is a compact and stylish hard drive and complements my PS.... Only PS4 games save hard drive .. I bought it to supplement my PS5 in downloading the PS4 games to a separate drive. Lots of space and speed is similar to those on PS4. You can’t go wrong with this drive. Save PS5 ssd space for PS5 games, this drive will take care of your PS4 catalog.

Great drive with impressive speeds for a 5400RPM. I'm using this as a backup storage drive for my PC. Have not used it on a console, so I can't comment on that. Love how compact it is. Only con is that the included USB cable is pretty short.

It was super easy to install on the PS4 and works awesome. I haven’t tried it on the PS5, but (since it comes with 1TB) but I will follow it up once I install.
