WD Black P10 Game Drive 2.5” 5TB external failed

Worked great for the amount of time used as a time machine backup drive. Purchased in Dec. 2022 and failed in Oct. 2024. I backed up the macbook about 20 times. Warranty is 36 months so I hopefully get a replacement. Did not lose any data but to be safe have at least 2 backup drives at all times or use a RAID NAS.

Xbox use

Can only be used for backdated games and i dont think i can fill it woth 5tb work of old school games

It's small, it's light, works as intended. Not really much to say about it - I'm using it as a portable external backup for my primary PC. The transfer rate was slow, but that's not on the drive, it's on the PC itself (ports) rather than the drive. Let's see how long it lasts!
