This drive is designed for gaming but it can also handle general storage needs very well. If you're a content creator and you're recording in looseless quality, using an external is great because it saves your main drives. This is one of them that I recommend.

Purchased for my PS5. I have 30+ games installed and still over 2Tb of free remaining. Load times are great! External storage for PS5 is a must have and this will not let you down.

Great for having alor of games and options. 500 gb on a standard ps4 just wasn't enough. Downloading psn games consisted of deleting a 1 game for another which was a pain. Now I don't have to worry about that and can download up to 125 games. I dint need the 5tb but it sure is handy.

I use this for my PS5 to store all of my downloaded games and it is super fast and it really doesn’t skip a beat! You should definitely buy this if you have a PS5 or Xbox series X when you need quick results on demand with little to no delay to loading time.

Got this for use with a ps5 also purchased from best buy to store ps4 games on. The limited space of an internal hard drive was remedied with one cable and small (albeit pretty good looking) external hdd. My second WD HDD and good quality on both. Whisper quiet too if that matters to you.

One of the best storage devices I have, really recommend. Tough, fast and reliable.

Great HDD so far. Currently have it storing some PS4 and a few PS5 games. 35 all together so far and still have a little over 3TB available! Doesn't load into games super fast as it's still a mechanical drive but definitely worth the money for added space.

I bought this for the PS5. It is working well and I am saving all of the PS4 games to this drive. One main drawback of the PS5 is it has very limited space and you are required to invest into an external hard drive. This is a really good size and got it on sale. So far so good!

I was able to store all of my PS4 games on this one drive. The plus side is, you can play the games directly from the drive on the PS5. This is a must have considering the lack of storage space on the PS5.

Got this for my PS5, it works awesome. Note: Don't use it on PS4 first or on PC. Put it directly on the PS5 directly out of the package. Let the PS5 format it then leave it alone. Also, remember to go into settings and leave external devices on while PS5 is in Rest Mode.

Even if you have a ps5 this is still mainly useful if you have ps4 games that you want to put on it. You can not save ps5 games on it.

Love that im able to move my ps4 fames on to the drive and play my games from there. I went went having 5 games dowloaded to about 40 now.

I ordered this product online and I saw nothing that restricted it to the older generation of games until I picked it up in store and noticed a few places on the box that said that very thing. I love it and the storage is amazing. It is the same size as my old hard drive but has twice as much storage. I will just have to restrict how many ps5 games fit onto my console until I have to buy a new external hard drive that can store next-gen software.

So far so good! Have about 20 games downloaded on here and have plenty of space left. Really excited about being able to play games and not take up space on the ps5. This was definitely a game changer. Games start up really quickly too!

Wd is a reliable company. the drive is pretty good for the size.the drive is fast enough to play games on it on my Xbox series x there is a little stutter when it has to load a lot of data other than that it’s at it’s fine. It loads fast for a 5400rpm drive

It was good until i was mot able to download ps5 games. I wish it wouldt of said on the box or something

I use it for my ps5 and it’s honestly the best in terms of speed. I can play olde games and not tell any difference in loading times / graphics. It also is usually on sale so you can get it at a great price. Definitely worth it.

Picked this up on sale for my Xbox Series S. It works flawlessly, and older Xbox titles can be played from the drive, instead of the console’s internal memory. Saves a lot of headache, and transfers game files quickly.
