Bought this so I can save games that I want to play later and free up storage on ps5 to download new games. Cheaper then an ssd. Takes a little while to transfer and you can’t play ps5 games directly off it. You can play ps4 games so that helps.

Super fast & built like a tank

I recommend not to touch it while it's running otherwise you have the risk of making the bearings crash and that is with all hard drives but overall I recommend has for gamers and non-gamers alike

Sure it's not the fastest out there but it doesn't have to be. I haven't noticed any lag playing the games I have stored on this external. Don't plan on using this as storage for ps5 games, get an internal ssd for that!
