Excellent hard drive got it for my ps5 was cheaper than getting an internal and have like 25 games on there and only half full. Highly recommend

Was looking for a suitable storage device to transfer, save & upload games on and this was suggested. It was definitely what I was looking for and the price sweetened the deal for that amount of storage.

It has a large enough capacity to store multiple full games (roughly about 15-20 or more). The games played within this portable hard drive doesn't suffer from any visual or gameplay degradation because this HDD has superior internal mechanisms that are extremely efficient. The grandkids are excited that I have upgraded the system memory. Now we don't run out of room for games anymore. Win Win. (Unless we're playing Mario Cart - then they are ruthless)

Super simple instructions just plug-in play nothing really to set up except in the settings on the PlayStation itself, needed it, and did exactly what I wanted

I downloaded around 15 games . And i still have plenty of space im my console. Thanks to this memory my console stays fast .

Great portable drive for the price. If your moving a ton of stuff at once, it does have some slow write times, but it’s a great back up drive.

I play a lot of games and I have to say I use a lot of space, so I picked this up, slapped it on my PS5 and I’ve got even more storage to last me a good while.

5TB WD Black for external PS5 storage for PS4 games. Works great and I don't have to store games on PS5 or Internal SSD upgrade. Format was a breeze. It's HHD so it's not blazing fast like SSD. Took about 14 hours to transfer 2.8 TB of games on drive. Games came up fairly quickly for HHD. Seemed quite enough. I never noticed it. And only got warm on transfer. Size is about the size of a mans wallet. Really like the look of it too. I would buy again. My drive got lost in shipping and Best Buys sent another one over night.

Got it to keep my old PS4 library saved locally. Keeping the PS5 internal memory for PS5 games. You can still play the PS4 games straight off the drive without transferring

I'm a "Karaoke Jockey" (aka KJ/DJ) and I've been using this model for quite some time. I have several containing music and video files, and have yet to experience ANY issues. Sadly, I can't say the same for my "Older Friend" Mr Seagate. I've had several that have suddenly had disc spindle bearings freeze, and if I hadn't had a backup (DO YOU??), I'd have been in BIG TROUBLE!!!

Gets the job done. I've purchased probably 10 of these drives to deliver video files to clients. Haven't had one fail on me yet.

Bought 2 of these one for my son and the other for me we have 2 ps5 and they work great,fast,hold lots of games. Plug and play.

Excellent option to store and play PS4 games directly. Also, works great to store PS5 games that you can later transfer to console and play.

Been working excellently with my PS4 Pro. Loading games on to this and freeing my internal really helps reduce power and cou usage on the PS4.

The WD Black external drives are extremely dependable. This is my forth drive, and ALL of them work excellently for the purpose in which I purchased them for. I bought them to expand my gaming hardware. The Two Xbox Series X, and two PS5 gaming consoles have never experienced any performance issues. The Drives are perfect Mules to transfer, and store files that would otherwise be too large to retain in the consoles internal storage, and I would go so far as to say they are absolute necessities to get the most out of your hardware. The price is extremely fair too, and is unbelievably low when you consider the amount of space you get for your buck. I’d advise you to purchase this drive before you lose out, because once people begin to realize how much they need them after the holiday season is over, you won’t find them in stock.
