    I purchased this HDD for use on my PS5 as the internal SSD is limited and I have many PS4 games I still enjoy playing. I’ve loaded and played 14 PS4 games to/from it without issue and there’s still almost 4TB remaining. The case is a decent size and doesn’t stand in the way. My only gripe is that it could come with a longer cable. My PS5 is in a fan-cooled enclosure and I’d like to be able to access to the HDD without moving the PS5 or cabinet.

    Western Digital is still one of the best in regards to standard HDD in my opinion, the WD_Black series in specific. Thicker plates, longer lifespan, great speed since it's USB 3.2, preloaded with WD software, small and compact. Have multiples of these for storage and streaming/editing purposes. If you want a standard but good external HD, especially at a great price then this is the drive to buy!
