Hang an antenna in the window and keep the cradle close to the bunk. This one, not so much....Even in field test mode there was not any change...kinda shocking I love wilson products....

Posted .The FCC imposed new regulations in May of 2014 that restricted the amount of boost that can be applied to the signal heading back to the tower. Found out that Wilson was now weboost and Best Buy carried it. Took a little while to get help because II was busy but everybody was very knowledgeable and I got all my questions answered and now using it in the truck and loving it.

In moderate signal You will see a 1 bar or 2 increase. I am going to get larger antenna to see if that helps. The antenna that comes with is two small.

It improved my signal strength by only 5 (from -100 to -95) and it runs very HOT. I returned it and purchased the Weboost Drive G-M and that was also a disappointment.

The boosters can reach temperatures at the connection sites of 150 degrees. Most of the time, the heat is not of concern to the devices, but we do have a 2 year warranty on the product we can utilize if needed. The amount of gain you will see on the unit will always depend on the outside signal. The Drive 4G-S has a max gain of 23 db, but the amount you see will always depend on what decibel you have to start with. The connector site will experience temperatures up to 150 degrees, and the booster itself will get warm to the touch while in use.
