Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to try for my hunting cabin..usually get one cell bar 1x symbol but no service and hoped it might help..obviously you cant expect magic and it cant perform miracles in such a situation and it didnt work for me at all...I did get about a small extra bit of phone use where I normally didnt,maybe an extra halfmile, but def not $200 worth of improvement..the booster antenna connector got hot really fast..i already spent the money and maybe it will save me a few minute drive to where i normally have to park to call but at this price If i hadnt lost the box I would probably return it...the phone didnt work much better at all..

The connectors on the Drive 4G-S will get warm, especially in low signal areas. It sounds like you are in a low to no signal area. It's supposed to boost a weak signal, not a non existent signal. I highly recommend getting a better antenna for it. It definitely helps. The old ones used to transmit more power before the FCC decided to regulate them. Once the FCC wrote the rules Wilson Electronics had no choice but to change the hardware in their boosters. They still work and I will keep using them.

Please save your time and money and just switch to Verizon. I have T-Mobile, and I like them a lot, cheap and works great in the city... but anywhere else, good luck! Please, don't waste your time and money. I even bought a second antenna to try to help boost signal even more (as recommended by many people on Amazon)... again, didn't work!
