My first choice in cell phone boosters

I am happy with the cell phone booster with this weBoost Drive X. I had an old unit that was apparently only good up to 3G a number of years ago, and needed another one for 4G and 5G ready. I am able to keep a good signal as I drive both interstates and rural areas in Texas and Oklahoma. I can also put it in my tiny camper on the hill by my lake house, and it boosts the signal from one bar to 3-4 bars there also. Having the boost while driving helps save my cell phone battery also. It is easy to install and hide the wires in the vehicle, and it is best to mount the inside antenna as close you your cell phone as possible. I recommend this product.

After much fighting my low end carrier because they couldn't register it, having T-Mobile tell my friend she couldn't register but 1 booster (she has an actual T-Mobile booster for her home) I was able to register it under my daughter (she uses metro PCs) the booster has done what it claimed. I've got at least 2 extra bars when inside my truck (91 f150 single cab long bed) and when walking within 5 feet of my truck. The external antenna is on the top of my truck bed cap and the internal antenna is currently hanging on my rear view mirror. Clermont, FL has No Service Anywhere and I have service!

I’m super pleased with this product. I bought it to limit service disruptions while on a road trip with my family. We’re all quite dependent on our smart phones. It frickin’ works!!! I stuck the antenna on the roof on the back of my wife’s SUV, ran the cable down the molding around the hatch, and slipped it into the storage compartment in the back. Then, I used the Velcro to fix the inside antenna to the column behind the seat, ran the cable behind the panels, and tucked it into the storage as well. The port for the outside and inside antennas are clearly labeled, so I connected them, plugged in the power, and flipped the switch. Then, I wrote this review with strong 5G service while cruising down the interstate.

We were traveling around the country in a converted campervan, and this was essential for work and staying connected while on the road. We generally saw an increase of 1 to 3 bars of service and occasionally even got a usable signal when there wasn't any before.

Although this item still uses a cigarette lighter plug, the item is great and easy to set up and use. This is my second. I use one in my work vehicle and now personal vehicle. Great product.

This product really works. I was honestly surprised, But when I go to my farm about 80 miles from the city, I get terrible phone reception so I thought I would try it. I watched my phone with 1 signal bar, and then I plugged everything in and turned on the switch. It went to 5 bars. I was truthfully shocked, but I highly recommend it. We will take it with us for sure when we travel to other states.

I was surprised with how well it works. I have t-mobile for my cellular carrier and it helps boost my signal. I’ve noticed a significant improvement going down the I-95 corridor. My only complaint is how expensive it is, that’s why it got 4 stars instead of 5.

Bought this when driving through some dead zones near national parks and needed to do work while camping. Note that you do need SOME signal to boost (it can’t give you signal if there’s nothing to boost). Works well to keep navigation apps connected and avoid getting lost. Signal works well to make phone calls and depending on how little signal you have to start with allows for a WiFi connection from your phone. Love this thing.

Didn't know such a product existed. Always had problems on my way to out of town offices. Totally eliminated the dead spots that would affect my ability to do business or text. Got it on sale at Best Buy and will look for more for other family members. Truly, a must have! Easy to set up and use. Took only 10 minutes. Impressive phone quality even traveling across the desert and through mountains where one would otherwise have to use emergency call boxes.

What can I say–one summer we had a hard time with signal and the next we didn't–all because of this product. We did a similar road trip across the midwest two consecutive summers and noticed we were able to have signal when we needed it by having this setup in our vehicle. The apps and getting registered was a bit cumbersome, but once it was working it worked great.

Works really good when no one else has service but it does get hot and you have to keep your phone within inches of the booster. Very easy to set up

The unit itself is good but the power cable is garbage. For $400 it should have a better power cable source. The one that came with it is already fried after second use.

My shop is a metal building and before I got the signal booster, I’d constantly miss calls. My cell signal went from 1 bar to 3+ and internet has sped up too.. I get great coverage anywhere in the shop, no more dead zone or putting my phone in the window to get 1 bar. Installation was tricky, trying to find the direction to put the box and it did have to be adjusted but now, we get great coverage! It’s worth every penny!

Bought this for my husband's truck as he works in poor service frequently. There are times when the signal doesn't seem consistent but for the most part we have noticed an improvement in the signal he gets.

This is helping in our camper where there is little to spotty signal. We do have to keep the phone very close to it to get good signal. Also note its not a standard plug but made for a car.
