The towers are several miles apart on each side of us. It's not the greatest but we are very fortunate we have something to help us out.

If you are in the room with the antennae then you may be fine. But something of this cost should cover my whole house, I don't live in a mansion. And it's not like you can just put it wherever is most convenient. It requires a cable jack and power outlet to install, so I can't put it in a central location. Waste of money!!

I had a good location for it, but I did get the boost that I expected. It just went from 2 bars to 3, so I was disappointed with that.

I am sorry that our amplifier wasn't able to help your mom and dad receive a better signal inside their home. There are many factors that play for our amplifiers to perform and function properly. The biggest one being the outside signal since that is going to determine the output of the booster and the coverage area it's able to do. I always advise that the Home 4G is a one room solution most of the time. I am not sure what the sales associate said to you, but typically before any purchase we advise to check the signal outside before making any purchase with our technical support. That way we can make the correct recommendation for you that's going to suit you best, and if the signal is too low outside, we will not recommend anything since the product won't work for you. I would recommend trying again if possible and we would love to help you out in receiving the correct recommendation for your area. Works great for a workshop with steel roofing

Not worth the money

I did a lot of research and also spoke to a salesperson at Best Buy about which booster would be best. This one was recommended for $428. I am unable to receive emails or use the internet on my cell phone. I receive text messages, but cannot send any out. Calls can be made now, which I could not do before.

BEST BUY DOES NOT INSTAlL

And you have to run wires into various rooms. A real pain for home use. The GEEK SQUAD DOES NOT INSTALL. I had two technicians come out and the both wanted $600 to install. Also Best Buy has a 15 day return intros product. Not enough the to install and see if it works. Wish I never got it. Very expensive mistake.
