This weboost worked good. It increased my dBm by an average of
-55. Helped my internet speed a lot. My only complaint is the indoor antenna is not very strong, you have to be within a foot to achieve maximum results.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to see that you are getting coverage from the Home 4G. We do have an indoor antenna upgrade, which is capable of covering double the current coverage of the desktop antenna. The part number is 304447- which includes the cabling, and antenna to attach straight to the internal side of the booster. For more questions, you can reach us here:

Did a temp installation to see what would happen to the signal srength. Went from 1 to 5 bars near the antenna. This is more than a plug and play installation as I was lead to believe, but worth the time and cost if it does the job of no more lost calls.

Purchased this product with the goal of improving my son's cell phone service/signal. He lives in Western ND and has AT&T for his carrier. The issue is their house is in a low lying area and he would have no service inside the house. He was able to mount the antenna unit on an exterior antenna tower next to their house approximately three feet higher than the roof line. He now has full signal strength on his AT&T cell phone everywhere in the house and the yard. As well everyone else's cell phones at the residence as well now get full cell signal strength on their Verizon and Straight Talk phones as well. This product works fantastic for us and I would highly recommend.

Works as long as you have some signal already.
Ensure a strong 4G or 4G LTE signal throughout your home with this weBoost Home 470101 cellular signal booster, which helps prevent dropped calls and lost connections in up to 2 rooms. Simple installation lets you begin enhancing signals right away.

I’m 2 miles from the closest cell tower. Outside my house I get 2 bars of 4g. Inside my house 0-1 bar but no 4g. Mounted antenna near peak of roof and ran 30 ft of included cable to booster in family room. Inside is now 2-3 bars of 4g. No more dropped calls. I have used it several weekends now with hotspot from my Verizon phone to stream movies cause windstream WiFi sucks so bad in my area (2-3 mbps) all the time! I use it mostly for WiFi backup and it has been great!

I live in an area where the signal inside my house gets about 2 bars maximum, and sometimes no bars. This seemed to at least stabilize the signal strength at 2 bars. I am probably going to mount it a little higher outside to see if it improves, but at least I don't lose signal like I used to.

I should probably have given a higher star rating but I haven’t had the out side antenna properly mounted yet, I am certainly getting improved cell service but I think once I am able to get the outside antenna properly mounted I am thinking the signal will be even better.

We researched before buying. It does great if you are in the same room with the device. If you move to another room is does not help that much. If I were to do over again I would get the bigger one.

Thank you for taking the time to review the product. The Home 4G is meant to cover a desktop area to one room. It does have potential to do more. If you are looking for a bit more coverage the Connect 4G would be the product to look at. Here is a link to the product: https://store.weboost.com/products/connect-4g. I always had a reasonable signal outside the house, but usually none inside. I live in the mountains, so it's hit and miss. I asked my carrier about signal boosters and they were skeptical, as was I. Decided to bite the bullet and purchase a weBoost 4G booster package at BB. Good decision. After 1 1/2 hours setting it up -- locating the best place to mount the outside antenna, running the cable through the window and connecting the booster, etc. -- I checked my new phone (also BB) and Shazam! Almost full signal at some inside locations and 2 to 3 bars elsewhere. The package sports a hefty price but I believe it's worth it. As another reviewer said, "No cell signal makes you crazy."

Helped service but at the cost of network speed

We have a mobile hotspot for our home internet and with the antenna it took our signal from -105 db's (2-3 bars) up to -70db's (4 bars) and greatly helped cell phone coverage. That said it actually lowered our network speed. I did a series of speed tests over a few days with and without the antenna and with the antenna plugged in we lost an average of about 15% of our data speed.
I spoke with a greek squad agent and he said it's likely that the antenna is allowing us to pick up more of the signal but unfortunately it's also picking up a lot more interference and the interference is slowing the network down.
I will be returning the antenna. It could be great for many instances but didn't work for us.

I have remote property that I can sometimes pickup one bar of Verizon and nothing from other carriers. After installing I can send and receive calls and SMS.
My only issue is it seems I have to be within a couple feet of the indoor antenna making common area placement a must.
