With Webroot, you do not have to stop Window's Firewall. They both work together. It doesn't slow my computer down like some others.

I purchased a new Mac and decided to go with Webroot for it as well. What a mistake! From the very beginning I had issues, it would not download and had to call Best Buy several times and finally got it to download. The next day other issues developed and finally got in touch with a live person at Webroot, he explained that Webroot was aware of the software issue with macOS Catalina and they were working on it. he told me I would be receiving an email from them explaining the issue and an update would follow. That was 2 weeks ago and I still have not heard from them. Poor customer service from Best Buy and Webroot. Why would they sell a product, knowing that there issues with this operating system.
