Was time for renewal of webroot antivirus protection.

I purchased a digital download for 2 years and have spent hours on the phone trying to resolve an installation issue on Mac. NOW THAT I READ THE REVIEWS, I SEE I'M NOT ALONE IN THIS SITUATION. I have called Webroot several times and sent emails and all I get is "this is unusual" and to wait for them to contact me over the phone. I'm so upset not only on the money spent but on the contempt from Webroot. They just don't care. If you own a Mac, save yourself troubles and stay away from this brand.

It was easy to purchase online and download to my computers

IF this gets fixed I will change my review BUT I bought the digital download today (11-13-18) and like many others, received the dreaded "invalid keycode". I talked to Best Buy this morning and she sent me an email with instructions and the same key code for me to try. I tried again when I got home from work and got the same result. I've opened up a Webroot support ticket and emailed Best Buy back telling them if this doesn't work, I may want a refund vs. another key code. Stay tuned!!!! OH! and don't believe the "Webroot bot" that responds to these reviews. This IS a common occurrence apparently, because look at the other reviews!

Don't purchase Webroot! Worse antivirus protection out there! Does not cover you for malware or viruses & if it does, it's not complete. I know, it happened to me. If I could, I'd rate this antivirus program a 0! Plus! On top of it, they make it extremely difficult to cancel it, I had to talk to 3 separate people, only the last was able to actually help me.

Too difficult. Could not communicate well with this person. I have ordered and been charged for support and for software protection. Already have Web Root, which I told the representative. Seem to have been sent information for a fresh installation, not just a renewal code. Best Buy keeps treating us like we have not done so. Being told we have let our support and our protection expire. You need to get your act together.

Webroot does what it supposed to do. nothing fancy. overpriced

Had several issues trying to activate, had to call several times. while they where very helpful it was very aggavating. the softwareit self is great.

Works great and keeps viruses out. This was a great value for the money.

On 11-22-2020, I purchased a security program for my Mac pro laptop. It turned out to be incompatible with my computer. I called back on 11-23-2020, the Geek squad told me they would refund my VISA card. They sold me another program which also failed to work. Again, they said they would refund my money, and wanted to sell me another product. I declined preferring to get my credit card corrected before purchasing anything else. My case number is 1899 and I have heard nothing about the $52.99 and $53.99 refunds. In all I have spent 15-20 hours on the phone regarding this problem and it has been a terrible experience. I even went to my Best Buy store, but was advised I had to correct the problem on the phone. I am 72 years old and have bought many things from Best Buy and have always had good service, until now. Could you refer this to someone who will contact me about money due me?

It was supposed to be delivered within 24 hour but it took 5 days. It's a digital download.

I purchased this webroot protection in Feb. 2021 and as Of this date, 04/14/2021, this product has not been installed on my PC. I have called and Worked with the Geek Squad, twice. And the product has not been installed on my computer.
