    This was an included option when we purchased the Mac Book Pro. Although there aren't many virus and malware programs aimed at the Apple product line it makes my wife feel better that she has this protection.

    I have this on all computers at home. Cost is less than McAffee and it actually identified an issue on my computer that had McAffee before. McAffee did not pick up on it.

    I have used Webroot for years and I like it. I bought a 2 years duration for 3 devices. I have had no problem in the past, i do not expect to have some anytime soon so yes i recommend it.

    So, it doesn't seem like the most convenient thing to use. I have it installed and I'm sure it's doing something, but I don't go through their browser or whatever, so I don't know if its actually doing anything at all? Probably if you weren't dumb dumb like me and used this properly it would be great.
