Not worth it Don't Buy

Removed from my device and got back my McAfee account on my devices (2 phones, 2 laptops, 1 desktop). Also, McAfee was cheaper and many reviews of webroot told me they payed for years of subscription only for it to cancel on them after a few months and would require them to pay all over again.

Windows defender / system security for the win

Do not add antivirus software to your Windows computer just activate the Windows defender and it's free for life and works great

My credit card was charged a renewal fee for a new year 2022 thru 2023. Unacceptable. Can't rate the product but the cancellation 1 star. Now I have to spend time getting best buy to credit. System force to give product rating

When I called, the person that I talked to was not helpful and would not listen to what I was saying. I had already done everything that he wanted me to attempt. It was not an issue with my computers but an issue on their end that would not be fixed by taking remote control of my computer.

Someone scammed our BB acct - this charge ran across my PAYPAL acct $925.00. Am I upset YOU BETTER KNOW IT. I want everything you have on this transaction NOW.... On 11-3-19 I was in BB and I used my cc card. I HAVE A FEELING ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES HELPED THEMSELVES TO OUR PERSONAL INFO. Whoever is responsible WE WILL BE PRESSING CHARGES AGAINST BB AND THE UNWANTED GUEST.....

Posted .If I may start by mentioning our WIN Cloud http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php as all the work is done on there and not your PC also WSA only uses 3 to 6MB of RAM and up to 6 MB's on the Hard Drive for the Client and this is the future, it's here now! How can the other conventional AV's keep up with almost 500,000 new Malware everyday and over 142 million Malware in 2014 alone? Furthermore, Webroot has free Support as long as you have a subscription. Where as most other AV's don't have this!

Posted .Viruses are always written for a specific platform. A virus written for Windows can only run on a Windows machine. Now consider that the aim of a computer virus is to spread to as many other machines as possible, much like the common cold spreads through the population when we hit winter. Attackers are obviously going to most often target the platform that the majority of people use in order to get the best return from their attack. And that platform happens to be Windows. Mac systems do still have vulnerabilities; however, they are not exploited as often as Windows is. That being said, there are plenty of threats designed for the MacOS, and that's where Webroot will be valuable to you as a Mac user.

It was insisted that in order for Geek squad do service on my PC I take Webroot. Tough paying for something that is not needed! Otherwise I would highly recommend Geek Squad for service of your computer/tablet/laptop.
