I called in to Webroots phone support with a malware problem I wanted removed from my Safari. I'd run the Webroot scan and it found nothing. After 1 1/2 hrs on the phone with a tech, him doing several searches on my Mac he asked to call me back. After another hour he called to say he couldn't find it and I could... 1) take it into the Tech Service at Best Buy (24 miles for me) or 2) call back at another time and talk to someone else on his team. No, he couldn't transfer me, no he couldn't have someone call me, no he couldn't research it any longer-I needed to just call back. I was outraged. Poor, poor and unqualified service!! I went on line and after researching the problem, found the malware file myself and deleted it. A big waste of money. Don't bother to look to their phone service for help.

BestBuy makes it super hard to cancel your subscription. Call the 800- number to cancel. I tried for 10 minutes, but couldn't find a way to can online.

Left computer so they could download information. We can get in the internet but nothing else. Supplied key for Microsoft office and outlook. Cannot get to anything and lost important information. Called and was on the phone for an hour! Still no results. Paid for a service that we did not get!

Garbage. Does not allow me to download, cannot be cancelled and auto-charged for something I do not use.

Cannot install? Able to call it up as purchased, have Key Code, still wont work

I honestly DO NOT recommend this service to anyone. The experience I had it was just a salesperson trying to push and force you to buy a service that won't fit your needs. I only purchased this service because I needed repair for my computer, but only after I had paid already, when I was reading the receipt, I noticed I was fooled. The salesperson allegedly told me it was a bundle and I must also pay for "Internet Protection, AntiVirus", but as I noticed later, that was optional so I was lied to. At the end of the attempt of repairing my computer, I was asked to pay for the parts necessary for the computer, but because I opted for not continuing, since the price for the parts were almost the same I paid for the computer, It wouldn't be worth it. I asked for a diagnostic of the computer, including the parts that were damaged, and nobody was able to tell me what was wrong with the computer. They knew exactly what to charge me to replace the parts and the price for it but when I asked for it so I could buy it myself they simply told me they couldn't find that information on their report. I wasted $200 for a service that was as helpless as my broken computer. Save yourself the trouble.

We purchased this product when we purchased a new Mac computer. We have had macs in the past but recently had an issue with our original one and wanted to be on the safe side with antivirus. This has been a headache from the very beginning. Once we set up the new computer I had to call the Geek Squad and allow them access to our computer to install this software. I am unsure why that was necessary. I am more than capable of installing software, It took hours to install and worked for about a month and uninstalled. I had to call Geek Squad again and allow them access again. It AGAIN took hours to install and twice the person I was speaking to via chat left the conversation without any notice. This installation was unsuccessful. I still to do not have antivirus on my Mac - which I probably don't even need!

I don't think this is worth it. I couldn't get download to work and if you try to call, you are on hold forever to talk to a actual person.

Purchased a computer. Told the salesperson that I already had Webroot. He charged me anyway and I can't get my money back. I have called multiple times and went to the store to try to get a refund. They pass me around and give me different stories about why they can't help.

Received the software after purchase of a Geek Squad plan, installed and within one day I had a virus warning generated from my other antivirus/security protection that was previously installed. I scanned my laptop with this software and it didn't locate any problems when my other protection did. I uninstalled it shortly afterwards.

As with any other "anti-virus" products, this is a waste. It's free, so there's that, but will install bloatware. If you are simply smart about your browsing, you'll never need anti-virus software. Anti-virus software becomes outdated within a few weeks of installing it anyway.

Does not run well on newest MAC software, will begin a scan then give an error message. Webroot themselves had difficulty installing it, noting that Catalina were giving them issue. Absolute waste of money.

I purchased this after my computer caught a virus. I rarely used my computer so this was of no use to me. Thereafter even after calling to cancel, it was automatically renewed. Then they fought with me tooth and nail to cancel the subscription! Horrible!!!! Don't bother!!!! A complete RIP OFF!!!!

RECEIVED GAS DRYER DELIVERY ON 3/11/2021, WHICH THE BACK OF IT WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED. THE DAY THAT I PURCHASED IT FROM BEST BUY IN STORE, I WAS TOLD THAT IT'LL BE DELIVERED BY BEST BUY & NOT A 3RD PARTY DELIVERY COMPANY, WHICH IT TURNED OUT THAT'S WHO DELIVERED IT. I ASKED THE DELIVERY GUY'S NOT TO BRING IT IN IF THE GAS LINE ISN'T LONG ENOUGH, BUT THEY BROUGHT IT IN ANYWAY; THAT'S WHEN I SAW THE BACK OF THE DRYER COMPLETELY DAMAGED. I WENT BACK 2 BEST BUY STORE 2 THE VENTED SYSTEM/GAS LINE/SET UP RETURN PICK UP & REFUND WITH THE MANAGER (SINCE APPLIANCE MANAGER WAS ON VACATION AT THAT TIME.)! THE SOONEST IT COULD BE PICKED UP WAS WEDNESDAY (3/24/2021) BETWEEN 12:00-8:00 PM, BUT IT END UP BEING PICKED UP EARLY ON THAT DAY AROUND 11:05 AM INSTEAD.

I’ve only had my computer three months and it shut down from a virus. Come to find out this particular virus protection doesn’t cover windows 10. I feel cheated!!!!!

After waiting 2 weeks for an appointment and then have them tell me it had to be taken in to back up and reinstall programs to then waiting for another 3 days for an appointment to take my computer in and waiting another 3 days for it to be fixed only to get it back with the same problem. The tech came back out only to tell me they didn’t do anything he requested and to take it back again. This time they were going to “expedite” the work. It has been there 8 days and no one picks up the phone or let’s me know anything. They need to rename Total Tech Support to Once in a while we’ll get it right.

I did went to Best Buy to clean my computer and when I was sold the SAME Weebroot I did cancel for another type of service; that, I am not sure IT will protect my computer or have a firewall for protection.

Worst antivirus I’ve ever used. Does not work right with my computer and cause so many issues. I had to reset my computer to get it off. And now I can’t return it cause it’s been 15 days.
