I am a big believer in having up-to-date and high quality anti-virus and I have used ESET Internet Security for many years. I don't like the idea of running multiple firewall, anti-virus, or related products on top of each other, so I actually have never used this free offering. If I didn't already have a preferred and trusted vendor, I might have considered using the software. I think the 6 month free subscription is pretty generous. I would have to do more research from impartial anti-virus evaluators online to see how Webroot stacks up against ESET and others.
