When I returned the computer the same day I got it (I found one with SSD drive and more RAM for slightly more after I ordered the computer), they tried to charge me $29 for this even though I never even opened the computer (and obviously didn’t use this license). Luckily, a supervisor was there and refunded me the whole amount.

My only complaint is that I wish everything took place in the app and not in a combination of the app and the website. But this is a common among antivirus software, so it’s not a deal breaker. A 6 month subscription came free with my Samsung Cromebook.

Effective Software
