I downloaded and installed it and the software seems to work just fine. Webroot was recently purchased by the online backup service Carbonite. I'll be curious to see if they make any changes to the software. The app is positioned in the market as a lower cost fully functional alternative to the more expensive name-brand options and in my experience it performs just fine so I will likely renew the service,

Perfect for the stay-at-home person

So I really don't need anything expensive for my laptop. I've always used Webroot and have never had any issues with it. Will continue to use it.

My son uses this for gaming and it has been great to protect him from phishing, etc Easy install and works for what is used for I’m happy thus far with web root it’s my first time using this
