As free version is ok. Helpes to catch tracing files

Thanksgiving was great and the kids were so excited

I paid this membership for several years. I was happy with it until there was an error on Webroot side, about 3 years ago. They were trying to charge the membership to a card that was closed due to somebody trying to use it. Best Buy sent me a new card but there’s was no communication between Webroot and them. I became very frustrated as there was no way to renew it with same conditions.

HAVE BEEN SPAMMED 3 TIMES IN LAST YEAR. HAVE HAD TO CHANGE BANK ACCOUNT AND TWO CREDIT CARDS. NO NOTICE FROM. WEBROOT.

The Tech Support is very good. However, when I made a major appliance purchase on 01/26/22, I asked if I could pay for my renewal by check. I was told NO, direct debit to the account with the info we have on file. Can NOT change it.

For whatever reason does not work with IOS system. Has not worked for a couple of years. Took Apple laptop in to Best Buy and they uninstalled Webroot and reinstalled and worked for about a week and now will not scan. Also have on iPad and IMac and quit working a few years ago as well. Happened after an Apple software update. Evidently not compatible with the update.

I am not really sure what it is doing. I see that sometimes it finds an error, bit I'm not sure it fixes anything. This could, of course, be operator error.

I had no idea that i had this as a subscription with Best Buy. I’ll have to check into that

Webroot was replaced by an updated version of Webroot by Geek squad tek. Earlier version allowed stuff like Trojan to get into my PC. Very unsatisfactory. Updated version seems ok so far. .

I liked Web Root, however, it stopped EVERYTHING. Now, that’s good and bad. I did find it a bit difficult to try to get around. I would look into something more suitable for me next time.

Webroot grows like a root. It took a lot of memory away from my Mac, and it will not allow me to upgrade to the next OS. It pops up almost every day when I'm trying to get things done.

Its never found any viruses or malware even though I had blue screen twice and several subscription locks on apps want me to subscribe to get app to work.

I still Have a problem with my webroot firewall.I still get alot of cookies and sometimes viruses.

Not sure about this but I needed a security product. I would have liked to get pc magic but I don’t know how to purchase securely

It was nice to get it included with the purchase. Unfortunately, I have been a McAfee user for many years and feel most comfortable with that program.

Hard to set up and confusing. I'll be honest I don't know if I got it working or not. I don't have the time to recheck. It may be just fine because I've not had any hacks.

I can't say for sure, but I think this program slows down my computer a bunch. The scan results are also confusing. With another program I was able to click an option to fix the issues that were discovered, but I don't see that option. When it tells me I have lots of temp files, I can never remember where to find them to delete. If this wasn't included in the price of total tech support, I'd never be using it.

It helps my laptop to stay secured and clean. Well I just received my new laptop last year, so lets hope it stays that way.
