I thought I had a subscription to Webroot because I have a Geek squad membership, but Webroot disappeared from my new computer after about a month.

Overselling products. Bestbuy is good for that....

I uninstalled webroot, because it was slowing my computer down and seemed to be reducing connectivity. I installed an alternative protection service that has been working a lot better.

OH NO!!! Not another Auto Renew!! No matter how many times you cancel this kind of stuff from Best Buys you will see it again year after year charged to your credit card - even expired cards (how does that happen?) I have even cancelled the credit card and obtained a new credit card number - and somehow that charge from Best Buy is there (how does that happen?)

I would not have anything found with Webroot when scanning my desktop and then run Spectrum Security right after. Spectrum would find something suspicious when Webroot never did.

This was not a new purchase, but a renewal. But updating the software was a nightmare. The automatic process failed and it took 5 Geek Squad techs and hours on the phone to get it fixed.

I am confused because I don't remember buying this -- and I already run a few AV and security programs. I guess Geek Squad installed it? Gotta take a deeper look. Anyone have any advice?

I haven’t been able to get this to work on my MacBook for over a year. I’m so disappointed because I have used it before the Catalina upgrade and now it doesn’t work.

It does a good job, but whenever it is doing an update or scanning for viruses when I first start up in the morning, it essentially locks up my computer

?was bundled with computer/software (Microsoft 365) package I purchased, but I have a prior security contract with another service, and have never used Webroot, which I thought should have been cancelled when I did not renew free McAfee, on the computer I bought (or with the Microsoft 365, also bundled), also for the same reason at the end of the free month. If there is a charge associated with the unused & unwanted Webroot, it should be refunded to me.

Second year of web root. It’s good but when I needed tv guy to come he didn’t. Had appt. Waited all day. Not even a call or text. Very disappointed.

I had to take this off my computer, since it interfered with another security protect I had.

When I bought my new computer I paid an extra amount and I was told I would have webroot for the life of my computer. Never happened.

After having web root for several years I would not recommend. I have gotten three viruses on my former Dell laptop. I'm not impressed with the lack of a VPN and lack of security measures to stop malware. I will not renew my subscription. I'm doing research on a replacement.

Still bad stuff got thru but they said I needed it so I did but it didn’t stop anything

While i am glad to have protection on my computer... i dont use my computer much, i got on one day and i whent to google something and my computer had got hacked im not sure how like i said i dont use it much, when i do i use it to netflix or research thats it i stay on pretty safe sights so i was super confused

This software product was not as easy to use as described on the box!

My Mac won’t let me load it. Very disappointed. Total tech is great just not webroot

My Web Root Subscription expired but I paid my Total Tech subscription. Not a good system to buy.
