Unfortunately I would have to disagree with you here. There is no such thing as 100% familiarity with the web. It is ever changing and ever expanding. Also, given my time in consumer support, I have seen many "experienced" users get infected just like anyone else. Given the introduction of new malware and exploits, stegosploit, for example, the only way that you could be 100% safe, would be to turn off your internet entirely.

Had geek squad go in a clean up my computer via remote. well that didn't work and it was still on there. Geek squad had to go in a second time and totally clean out the computer system to get rid of the virus. I removed the program and installed one I have used in the past
