Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
With that being said, having an antivirus on both Mac or Windows based machines is advised. You can get infected on both, and I have seen some pretty bad instances of crypto or ransomware on the Mac OS.
I do hope you will reconsider giving Webroot a shot as it works very well, and we offer free support.
