That is why we gave it an average rating. This product came highly from many different people. It is a little different for us because it scans by itself instead of us picking to do a scan whether full or quick.

It is advised to have protection on the Mac OS in this day and age.
While malware for Macs is not as prominent as they have a smaller market share than the Windows platform, they can still get infected. The odds of this happening are increasing everyday.

Truth is you can get free ones that work fine. free is hard to beet but I prefer to find a full product for free now than to use this six months then have to find a new one.
