The computer I loaded it on was a model I purchased from Best Buy about 5 yrs ago. It appeared to do the job until recently. I took my computer in to Geek Squad to get cleaned up. They found several viruses. Since then the web root anitvirus has done an excellent job. Even better, it can be loaded on to 2 more computers. Definitely worth the price.

I am so pleased. I didn't anticipate using it, but I'm so glad I did. It notifies me often if there is a threat of malware or something that could cause a disaster to my laptop. Plus, it works quickly to quarantine files before your entire computer gets infected. So glad I received this product after all!

If you don't, first of all, it's free. Secondly, Webroot is a good product. Sure beats leaving the computer unprotected.

The only problem I have with it is that the notice of it working it gives you is super quick so if you miss the first second of the home screen than you won't know if it's actually working or if a hackers showing the symbol as a decoy to make you feel safe:(

I usually use avast and other virus protections. Don't know too much about Webroot. 4 stars that you get it for free 6 months and you get a discount if you buy the extra 2 years.
