I've had webroot on every computer I have owned through and since college (over 15 yrs) and have not had a problem with viruses. Some junk mail and pop ups do get through but definately better than anything pre-installed that is most likely adware/spyware itself.

Got this as part of a free bonus from BestBuy when I bought my pc desktop. It's a 3 device 6 months free trial disc box that I got 11-16-15. Interesting note: the free trial period begins on the first day you get the software, not when you actually install it if not that first day. So if you use the pc's free trial security software (mine was McAfee for 30 days) already installed software for about 30 days and then want to try out Webroot software you only have actually 5 months left before they ask for subscription service fees. If you don't install Webroot within 6 monthes from date you got it, then you'll have to pay. As for the performance of Webroot you should check online for reviews to see if it fits your needs.

This is a great anti-virus. I feel more secure and my laptop & leaves me worry free.

Helps keep the laptop moving fast, and safe. I use is along with a virus program.
