They all seem to eventually corrupt or cause problems with Windows. I don't no if this is any better than Norton or Macafee, probably not. While it is free for a year you will pay when the subscription automatically kicks in. I cannot recommend this or not because I am not using it.

Best Buy installed it and it works just fine. I just know that there are other products out there that are free and I wouldn't pay for a security program. But it works just fine.
