Used Wedroot on my last laptop and it worked pretty good so I got it again

Would like to see a listing of any detected problems and their resolution.

When purchasing my MacBook Pro, a Best Buy sells associate recommended the Webroot secure anywhere software to to me as a complement to my purchase. Admittedly, I have never heard of the software and have been using the more prominent antiviral software such as Norton and McAfee. My immediate response to him was no thank you. I have had enough of antiviral software as it would consistently hold me up of operating the machine through slow foreground turns of scanning during all phases, whether in start up mode, work mode or shutdown mode. It was a knowing in my machine was so inefficient that I hate using it. This got worse over time. However, I was open-minded, and listened to the sales associate describe how differently and how efficiently the Webroot software actually worked. For one, it wasn't loading a database directly onto your hard drive, instead it ran from the cloud, that was an immediate plus. Additionally, it didn't work in the foreground but instead in the background, that you hardly even knew was running. So far, I've had no viruses and no significant threats that concerned me and no slowdown in using the machine as intended. I currently have the best of both worlds, a Mac operating system and a well-designed antiviral software that lets me work while it protects the device.

WebRoot keeps you advised of possible threats, and always lets you know what is going on with your computer. I am very pleased with this item.

I have had no issues with the product, performs very smoothly for the most of it. Lacks some information on how to renew the product on the program itself as in while the program is open on your computer it doesn't show any direct ways of renewing the product nor does it show anything pointing towards what you should do to renew the product.

I bought the year long Service Contract for up to 3 computers. I bought this same Contract several years ago and was happy with it then. This time, however, things went poorly. I received a call that the first machine I brought in for service was "fixed.". When I got it home I discovered that it still hung while booting exactly as it did before I took it in. Nothing was "fixed" and I was reminded that the geeks should have demonstrated it before I took it home. After returning it to Best Buy I got another call that, rather than "viruses" it was "loose memory" and now the machine really was fixed - come get it. When I got to the store I was told that, "No, the machine is not fixed and we don't know what the problem is." The second machine I took in was another "We don't know what the problem is." I haven't bothered to take in a third machine

It's an antivirus that is doing its job as macfee did for me in the past.

Helped clean up both my old MacBook Pro and keep the new computer happy .

I've used another antivirus before using Webroot. We went to Best Buy and an employee recommend it to me. I don't regret buying it at all.

nothing extraordinary but user friendly and reliable. I haven't had a virus since i installed webroot and computer performance has improved.
