    This trial version was included in the purchase of my new MacBook Air. I have owned several Apple computers and have never needed to install virus protection on them. For my latest purchase, the Air, I decided to try it out and I was impressed by the application. It provides very easy installation and customer support.

    come to find out, windows 8 has its own security system built in. So I did not need this product. Glad it was free!

    Comparable to AVG, isn't buggy or full of worthless software that is difficult to uninstall like norton or mcafee

    The Best Buy Sales person and the Geek Squad representative assured me that WebRoot is the best in today's market. WebRoot was installed on my laptop on 9/19/2014. Since my email was hijacked from my home computer in 7/2014 a company named Advance Tech Support sold me PC MRI Anti-Malware to the tune of $499.00 and a $19.99 per month support fee, I am leery of any products and support groups. (This was not the first time I have been ripped off by "computer tech support folks). However, Best Buy/Geek Squad stores are available for personal one-on-one consultation. Beats the heck out of trying to understand someone over the phone and being "taken" by same. Can't speak for the product yet, but the Geek Squad is terrific. Very patient with me.
