It took me days to figure out what was causing it and several hours on the phone with geek squad to remove all but one of the files. In particular there were 2 webroot files that took 100% each of my laptops attention and they had to be removed by Geek Squad after hours of working on it. There is still one file lurking that Geek squad couldn't remove but it doesn't seem to do much. So while the software did clean up some malware on my laptop it left me with a big headache. I do not recommend for MAC users. We are still wondering if it causing problems on a PC laptop that we recently purchased at best buy. Not sure yet.
