seems you cannot even trust many new antivirus these days because they are either nagware, or even worse... more virus. i am cautious on the web and this product has neither helped nor hurt. this was free with my pc purchase.

Hopefully, this is a good security program. I haven't had it long enough to grade it properly. Hope it does the job. With all the hackers and viruses out there, you need something secure.

My Surface RT didn't needed an antivirus software. But it came in handy for my desktop.

I took my new computer into the geek squad to see if they could fix my problem with mal-ware and Viruses. It was so bad that I couldn't use my computer even for emails. I received a phone call two days later that my computer was done. I picked it up and it was in fact fixed. I took it home and attempted to load itunes. It would not load. Something in the Microsoft software was corrupt. I called the geek squad hot line to see if it could be fixed online (a feature that came with my purchase of insurance from the Geek Squad). I watched my screen while Jacob W. took control of my computer and started working on the problem. Two hours later he had gone through many "layers" of possibilities and finally was able to fix my software. This guy was absolutely fantastic. Now my Dell is running better than it did when it was brand new. And, the people at the geek squad were patient and polite with me, even when I couldn't accurately describe the problem.

This anti-virus appears to be working well since i have yet to get any viruses. I do like how when I google something it shows symbols such as a green check, red 'X' or yellow mark to symbolize the risk of getting malware or a virus at that specific website.

Our goal is to end the slow downs and crashes caused by computer virus. This product seems to be working for now.Here's to hoping that it will keep strong in our defense.

The Geek did an excellent job of removing all of the unwanted material from the computer/.

Protects my laptop and does frequent scans to keep my laptop from getting viruses. I use my laptop for everything from work, to shopping, emails, social media, and never had an issue thanks to having this protection on my laptop.

So far I am satisfied with webroot. It was highly recommended by the staff at best buy.

I used Webroot on my last laptop and like it well enough to purchase it with this one too
