It was quick to install but the website it said to go to "didn't exist" so I had to just go to the general website and click on many tabs to get to the right page to download the program.

Feel much better with the Webroot. Haven't had any security issues

this is security with the ease of understanding for the NON-techies. i was "protected" with another product, i then was re-routed to a "blue screen of dread" website. (the site i was seeking had been defunct and co out of business.) while nothing did end up happening to my computer, i wished to be sure and ended up with an appt w/ the geek squad that night, just to be safe. instead of only having a virus/spy check scan i purchased the pkg which incl this feature for one year of protection. never would have thought i would rave about either. piece of mind is worth a lot!! i have already had them run a remote scan and check again. my computer is running better than ever. i love the green check mark system next to websites for "okay/safe to visit". very happy.

This web security program was easy to download off their website.

The software makes you think it is good, because it finds all sorts of "malware". Some of the malware isn't so "mal", however. It consistently deletes Chromecast from my Chrome browser. It claims that you can select which apps to "allow", but I have yet to be able to force it to allow Chromecast. Annoying. Also, it views every little tracking cookie as malware, even though some hold information you want retained. Then you have to enter the info again....and again....and, well you get the idea. Would I recommend WEBROOT? Definitely not.
