    This software came with the computer as a Bestbuy promotion. Does everything it advertises. Can't really say how well it compares to other antiviru software but this laptop only sees your typical web surfing, email and social media use.

    Still wondering the reason Best Buy sold me Web-Root when the computer already had McAfee; both are not needed. So, I waited for the McAfee trail period to end before installing Web-Root.

    I only have this product because it was part of the coverage with Geek Squad. I don't understand the necessity since Windows Defender and Microsoft Essentials are free and made by the companies with the biggest investment in keeping their products safe. I must admit that I am not the most technologically knowledgeable person, far from it, so feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I think this is just another way for this company to make extra money.
