A solid level of computer protection

It was free with the purchase and allows flexible installation on more than just the laptop that it was bundled with. I was able to install it on 3 computers using the same license key without any issues. I'll likely extend the coverage period before it expires. I would compare this with most of the commercially available products in this category. This brand is not as well known but appears to work just as good as the big names like Symantec and others.

Combines Technical Sophistication and Ease-of-Use

The former is important to me since I've had more than a few run-ins with malware over the years. The later is important for the less experienced members of my family who don't want to be bothered by arcane-sounding security messages. An especially nice feature is Webroot's browser integration, which provides an easy-to-recognize security ranking for websites when you run a Google search.
