    I've used McAfee and Norton in the past and this seems to be less taxing on the overall performance of my pc than the latter two.

    I began using Webroot almost 2 years ago on the advice of a Geek Squad Agent. I've been extremely pleased. During that time as I've replaced devices, it has been extremely easy to deactivate old devices and add new devices without being required to make any additional purchases on the existing license copies. The scans run regularly and have been very effective in keeping my devices protected. Before my first Webroot license I was a staunch supporter of MacAfee and I was regularly becoming the victim of computer viruses and on at least two occasions it required Geek Squad support to eradicate the virus. I haven't had a single issue that created loss of computer time since using Webroot. I am definitely a loyal customer to Webroot!

    We received 6 month free of the security suite of our choice when we purchased a new computer for my Mom. I opted for Webroot because it has the lowest resource usage of all the suites I've used. The user interface is clean and easy to use. the only downside is that it did not fall into the top rated category when independently tested on the internet. The performance at stopping malware and viruses was acceptable but not the best. Still I prefer this product since it does not freeze or bog the computer down while it works in the background.
