I wanted kasperski but could not install. They referred me overseas and tried to charge me money. Webroot is in USA easy to install and it works. I recommend it. Had Norton and Mcafee in past and was not happy.

I had an older version of this already and had to go to the store due my cc on file expiring, the Internet site for webroot did not provide a way to just update my info. When I went to the store, they ended up just saying I need to buy another disk, so I purchased the new disk, loaded to my computer and I thought I was set. My cc was charged for both versions of this and I had to call customer service to get it fixed. The new version seems to work better than the older. Just FYI though, on the billing issue

A must have when you purchase your new laptop or desktop

Technician installed Webroot on my computer and I told him I had another virus protection on this computer. He said this one was much better. I was not convinced, but since having it on, I have noticed it will block me from going onto web sites that are false and misleading. It will also not let me download any malicious software. It is on constantly and cleans my computer without my having to set up time consuming periods. My computer is faster, running smoother and I feel safer using it. It is also way cheaper than the leading brand. If I had purchased this in the beginning, I would not have had to bring my computer in to be fixed. I will never purchase the other brand again. I could never prove it, but it let malicious software on to my hard drive. I could not be happier.

Bought this to go along with laptop purchase after previous laptop froze due to a virus. Haven't had any problems so far!
