Last time we received free security software after the initial free period was over we did not renew for the paying price. Then, forever we received pop ups asking us to renew and saying our computer was not covered. However, it was covered as we downloaded free internet security software which a computer tech recommended to me. So we don't want to download this one and have that happen to us all over again.

Webroot should not popup on your computer once it expires. It is always advisable to uninstall a program you are no longer using though. You can do this from the control panel.

Webroot cleared everything up and there have been no more problems, We are very please with Webroot as our current protection.
