The software works great and is easy to use. There were no problems during setup. It scans the computer periodically and warns us when it discovers potential threats.

I had Mcafee virus protection, this product seems to have less features, but for it being bundled to my laptop its decent. I would recommend it though. Its simple to use and simple to install. You get a dashboard with one click features for phishing protection (thats weird emails or ads that ask or seem to want any personal information) and pretty good identify theft prevention keys.

Great software that comes with the system keeps you up to date on all antivirus and very helpful for new beginners on a PC

Guess it's doing the job. Though I will have to buy a new version next year because I'm told it's cheaper than upgrading

I bought this web root protection for my laptop but have also put it on my kids tablets. I have had no problems with this product nor gave I gotten any viruses

This sounds like ideal technology on the surface... doesn't use up computer resources therefore laptops run faster than traditional Anti-virus software. However does it work if you're not hooked up to web or if you are in an area with poor reception? No one could give me an answer at the store. Also if Webroot's server contracts a virus does that mean everyone "linked in" will acquire it as well? Something to think about.

I would buy again. No problems with setup and use. I also like how fast it scans for problems.

Geek Squad also tried installing it w/o success. There was a question about compatibility with El Capitan.. So after an hour at Best Buy we went home and called Apple and Webroot. Webroot support was closed. Apple was able to assist in installing it, although it was very slow. We spent 45 minutes on the phone with an Apple Advisor. Can not comment on how effective it is since we just installed it.

Webroot came as a bonus with my purchase. I found it easy to install and it appears to be very effective. So far I have had zero problems and am quite pleased.
