However does it work if you're not hooked up to web or if you are in an area with poor reception? No one could give me an answer at the store. Also if Webroot's server contracts a virus does that mean everyone "linked in" will acquire it as well? Something to think about.

Also, we have the most innovative and effective technology that implements journaling technology. In short, it tracks any moves a file makes and if that file is later determined as malicious, these changes will automatically be re-mediated and reversed.
The cloud will only work to your benefit. A virus will not go attack other users just because they are connected to Webroot. However, if a malicious file is found on a users machine, this determination will be sent to the Webroot Intelligence Network and updated to all users around the world.

Pretty good protection

It protects my pc's pretty well. At my house, when my cousins visit me , they mess around tons in internet. Online games is a must and I do not know much about that but I assumed that is a big risk speaking of viruses and stuff. I have never had a problem, nor even a problem with speed which is a huge plus. My only question would be if it would work fine if I add to my computer as an extra layer of security the Malwarebytes Exploit. If somebody can answer me that i thank in advance.
