    I have tried a lot of virus protections through the years of owning computers and this is by far the best. It doesn't slow down the operating system of my laptop. It can be used on up to 3 computers so my kids installed it on their laptops as well. My son was ready to throw his away after trying other virus programs that did nothing. After installing WebRoot, his laptop runs like new again. I will never use anything else to protect my computers.

    I really don't know how to tell if one Security is better than another until, maybe, it's been running in the computer for a long time. Have read reviews since I got it. PC MAG states that it hasn't had many reviews ...gives 4 stars. Read: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2470574,00.asp

    Have used this anti-virus software for about a year on home computer and laptop my daughter uses at college. So far have not had any problems with viruses on either computer. Seems to work in the background without a lot of conflicts/error messages like I had with Kaspersky. Price is much lower than competitors.
