we immediately set this up on my daughters laptop to avoid any viruses that could potentially harm her laptop, with her being a student and using her laptop for the majority of her school work, protecting it is the best thing.

I was told that it would take 2 hours to get my computer set up. It took about 7. I called the store before I left the area to see if it was done. They told me it would be ready the next day when they opened. So I came home to Queen Creek. The moment I walked in the door they called me and told me it was ready. Super frustrating!

Easy enough to activate. I had to call the help desk because it changed my setting for internet connection and it also change the orientation of my screen. Needed to unload the McAfee that was on the system after I finished setting this up.

I feel this will protect my laptop from viruses and keep me secure.

As the only scan option looks at only 26-34k files, I worry about the other 90% of the files. My former antivirus, Norton (no longer a Best Buy option) allowed "quick scan" (which I assume WebRoot's only scan equates to) or "full scan" options. Had I realized this, I probably would have gone with a different program. I feel WebRoot puts me in a "take it or leave it situation" only. Plus, the only scan calls itself a malware scan. Isn't that different from a full anti-virus scan? I will be talking to Geek Squad soon, to better understand exactly what this "anti-virus" program is doing. Until I feel more secure about this program, I cannot honestly recommend it to a friend.

With this internet security software I feel fully secure. It protects me of unknown online threats and viruses that it immediately detects. It immediately let me know when a website is unsafe before I visit them. Most of all it protects me from fake websites that tricks people into entering their personal information. Computer never slowdown while active.

The home display page is easy to read and is loaded with good information regarding virus and malware scan results, protection status, and links to settings, control options, performance optimization, detiaied reports, and password protection.

With so many threats out there, its nice to feel secure

I was using another internet security system and was constantly having issues with time delays, having to reboot due to malware issues and my worst problem was with the other system slowing my computer to a crawl. Once I changed over to Webroot my computer returned to it's old self. This product is outstanding for me and now my entire family uses it.

So far so good. Have only used for a month and no problems yet.
