Overall I think it will do its job for a decent price.

I had never heard of or used it before but thought I'd give it a try. To date I have no complaints whatsoever with it. It isn't intrusive or dominating but quietly does it's job

Webroot is a light weight product that covers the basic security needs, takes up very little space and runs very fast - without bogging down my machine. It doesn't have parental controls; however, for a business machine this isn't needed.

It slow my computer down so much and I can't wait for it to expire to get rid of it. I chose Webroot when I bought my new computer because I've had it in the past and liked it very much. I will buy it when this 6 month trial runs out. I'm done with Norton slowing down my computer.

A 6 month free trial of a labor intensive "big brother" type antivirus is not my idea of a deal. In 6 months I'll be expected to pay for someone to monitor my my every move and still not protect my system from viruses. Web Root is monitoring software and the average consumer is unaware. I never installed it and I keep receiving emails reminding me to..... I don't appreciate the deliberate attempt at invasion of my privacy.

We apologize for the confusion you are experiencing.
Webroot is not a monitoring software. It is an antivirus. The only thing Webroot should be monitoring are changes made to the system by malicious or unknown files.
We are also currently the lightest Antivirus on the market by far so the effect on the system should be minimal.
