As part of the $200 cost to fix Webroot was added .Seems to wk ok - don't see a way to manually check for updates

You can manually check for updates by clicking on the Gear Icon next to My Account, and then the About SecureAnywhere tab. It is worth noting that there is no need to do this as Webroot updates automatically.

It loaded quickly without any fuss at all. I also like the fact that, unlike some other programs that I have used, there are no obtrusive and frequent onscreen announcements about what it is doing: it just quietly goes about its business.

Also will get you out of a bad website. When you google sites Webroot will light up different colors by the sites safe and unsafe so you know not to enter certain sites with malware.. Won't use my computer and devices without it..

The best part is I am able to use it on 3 devices so I installed it on my wife's comouter and oh boy did it find a ton of stuff AVG didn't find! Her computer runs so much better now! Never heard of it before but I'm very pleased with the results!

Knowing I always have Geek Squad to go to for assistance was another selling point.

We shortly after switched over to Norton so I don't have any specifics about the webroot protection.
