So far, I am satisfied with the product. It operates in the background from the cloud. It boots quickly and is always ready. It has stopped two active threats so far--since I bought it early September. Hopefully, it will remain on the job!

The Chrome OS is not a supported operating system.
It is always important to check system and operating system specifications before purchasing any software.
Fortunately, the Chrome OS is very secure and there are no threats for it yet, so you do not need to have an antivirus on it.

I now use Avast free virus protection and so far have had no similar occurances.

Mac and PC internet security program

Tablet doesnt have cd drive so I tried going to the website and some how ended up with a fake site that downloaded viruses to my brand new Surface. Once I got the correct website the program was unable to detect the viruses. I had to do it manually but it didnt completely remove the viruses still. I ended up having to get Geek Squad to remote in and do a cleaning and system reset twice to fix it all. I went back to my other antivirus protection that Best Buy used to promote before switching to webroot.

Webroot identified the 3-files but was unable to remove them saying they were user added programs. I took Mac to technician and it appeared they modified webroot and allowed files access. I would feel safer with a security program that would remove all threats. I would recognise if I added a file. (user added) I would like to have a security that recognises a file, program has been added and verifies the addition to my computer, with me (owner) Thank you, Julia
