Basic AV software, came at a great price...free!!!

This came bundled with my C720 Chromebook. I'm writing this review to get my bestbuy points, and because they send me so many e-mails to install it on my Chromebook. Chrome OS is a new operating system specific to the chromebooks. The chromebook comes with built-in security as stated by google. It is also confusing to me why I might want extra security for a new OS that few computers run (IE few malicious programs are made for) that also has built-in security. So This is Free so yay.. But It just feels like bloatware. If you're super paranoid you might want to install it, you know it is free after all.

I have used Webroot for about three years and it seems to do a good job of catching malware and other bugs that try to infect our computers. Initially there was confusion as to whether support was provided by Best Buy or Webroot....but we got that sorted out when we renewed and go direct to Webroot if we have questions.

So far, no problems. We researched, and will renew

Can not really "review" this product since it was recommended by your Geek Squad when I brought my laptop into your Best Buy store #565. Recommended by Geek Squad to help my resolve my problem.

When I bought the Webroot, the sales person made it seem like it was easy to connect but my disc didn't work and I wasn't too sure if the webroot was added to my computer. Overall, this seems okay.

I've used Norton for years and have had several complete hard drive losses so I'm giving Webroot a try. No problems so far, I've only been using it for a little over a month, but I'm hopeful that will continue.

It installed easy enough but we had trouble with it blocking programs we wanted. I've used it on my mac before with no problems but the Windows OS on the PC didn't communicate properly and we took it off.

Only complaint I really have about this product is the rate at which it seems to slow down my computer. It won't even let me connect to certain networks sometimes.

This is my second time getting the web-root anti virus with a computer and i have never had any virus problems. However, i hardly go to weird sites so if you consistently do so I wouldn't know how it'll hold up. It also tells you which sites are trusted so I can easily avoid the dangerous ones.

I find this program a little difficult to navigate, though it seems to do its job. I generally prefer Norton, but I thought to switch it up. Probably won't renew this, just because of personal preference.

I loaded antivirus software on my MAC but hackers could enter. There is no protection. very poor anti virus product. Do not recommend this to MAC purchasers.

no problem with install, HOWEVER, it was NOT stressed to me that the activation of the program coincided with the purchase. I lost a week of coverage because I was not ready/able to do the install immediately.

With it's real time anti phishing protection, and passwords protection capabilities, along with securing your identity and data while you are on-line, along with award winning Anti-Virus technology, is a good buy.

I have always used Norton products in the past but this product seems to do the same or better at a much lower price point. Also not being locked into renewals for products I no longer own is a plus.

It's a great lite antivirus. When I bought my computer, the Best Buy associate recommended Webroot because it's a simple antivirus that doesn't bother the user with a lot of pop-ups. Plus, it's a cloud based application so it never has to update with virus definitions and whatnot. I've been very pleased with it.

I had a virus on my computer and needed it returned as quickly as possible took it in with a promise fro the Geek squat that they would have it back in less than three days. It was critical that I get it back asap and I was delighted the they had it back in one day with all the problems fixed.

I've been using webroot for awhile now and it is great for the basic things out there. It lacks a bit in the malware side, but it does catch most things other anti-viruses for way more money catch.

Have used this security product for a while and felt that upgrading to latest release would continue the quality protection. I would recommend thus product.
