Customers are saying

Customers highly value Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security for its ease of installation, reliable virus protection, and overall performance without compromising their computer's speed. They appreciate that it comes free with certain purchases and offers satisfactory security features. However, some users have concerns about compatibility issues, potential slowdown of their computers, and the relatively short subscription length of six months.

Although my wife's computer came with Norton, the bundle came with a year of Webroot. It's a good little program. It's dings stuff all the time. The program on our desktop doesn't catch nearly what that does.

Was purchased at the same time as my new Lenovo all in one. It covers not only my new computer but also TWO additional machines. Must faster and doesn't delay start up and scans as much as Norton. Additionally, it is both virus and malware protection while my old Norton allowed ransomware to infect my old computer.

The program has nice packaging but seems to be hard to get loaded on my computers. I have not tried again to get protection software down loaded but will take to geek squad to see if they can help.

The salesman at Best Buy offered Webroot SecureAnywhere when I purchased my desktop. I didn't really need it for my use but I installed it anyway just in case I visited a website with malware or viruses. The software was good for installation on five (5) computers and free for three months.

Good software that is easy to use for the kids computer. However, I was interested in the quality of protection and specific intrusions the software could prevent.

I check to make sure that the Antivirus is working on my lap top because I don't get any notifications or messages. No problems so far. We received this Antivirus as a bundle when we purchased a new laptop.

I had a nasty virus in my laptop and the Geek Squad were very good at eliminating it and keeping me informed of what was happening with the process. The gentlemen were very patient and informative. Good experience with them. The WebRoot was installed by them and appears to be working. Seems a good product.

I got two of these for free with my laptop purchases from Best Buy. I did not need another antivirus suit since I use full McAfee from my Internet Provider, but I gave it a shot as a free trial (6 month free). All I can say that it is just another antivirus bundle, not better or worse than what you can get on the market. I did not have any problems on my system, so I cannot tell how good or bad it performs, but based on the features, it is just average. If it was totally free I'd recommend it to a friend, but with only 6 month free trial, I'd say no.

I have used webroot on other computers before and it has been a good security for the computer. Like any protection it does not guard against 100% of viruses but when I do have a problem I know I have Geek Squad to back me up. Webroot along with Geek Squads protection plan is fool proof.

I highly recomnend using webroot because of the price and it doesnt take up much space on your device. Unlike norton and kaspersky it always slowed my computer down. So far webroot has not and im ver satisfied.

This was given as a fresult product when purchasing a tablet. I feel it isn't necessary with windows 8.1 considering the built in virus software. However it does a nice job monitoring and scanning computer

We purchased a new lap top in Florida a while back, and the salesman recommended the WEB ROOT Security over the free Norton security offered by Comcast. We purchased it then and so when we got the new computer, we got Web Root security again. You can never be too safe when you are on-line!

I think this came free when we bought the laptop. So easy and fast to install and it takes care of everything automatically. I have not had a single virus or malware problem since installing the webroot. Yes! Webroot has got your back! And you can install it on 3 separate devices NICE!

I would like to see more information on screen. I guess it works okay as I haven't had any problems. There seems to be a glitch with my printer as it continues to indicate my printer files are "problems"!

Seems to make MacBook pro slow

This was installed by Best Buy on two pcs and one MacBook Pro. Ok on the pcs....the software claims that it found bad things and "assured me" that the bad things had been fixed!? Ok. But my MacBook Pro is now so slowed down, that it is near worthless for everything except basic email. Is it the fault of the software, the install by Best Buy or just a coincidence? I don't know, but the laptop worked perfectly before I took it in to Best Buy.. #!!?&@!!n Wish I had never let them near the Apple product laptop. Will cost me well over $1,000 for a replacement.. Mutter, mutter.

I've always used Norton so making the switch was a bit difficult. I installed last week, so only time will tell. I do like that it's cloud based and hope that this works well for my security.

I have Norton 360 and understand that Webroot conflicts with it. I purchased Geek Squad for three computers for two years. Webroot must have been an add on.
