Customers are saying

Customers highly value Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security for its ease of installation, reliable virus protection, and overall performance without compromising their computer's speed. They appreciate that it comes free with certain purchases and offers satisfactory security features. However, some users have concerns about compatibility issues, potential slowdown of their computers, and the relatively short subscription length of six months.

Software seems ok, but it's not 1-year free -- says only a 6-month free subscription on box and that's from the time of purchase, not install. Gave as gift so effectively only about 5 months free.

I actually purchased the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security (5-Device) 2-Year Subscription. So far it seems to be working well. The techs recommended the Webroot product and I wanted the best value. Five devices will cover everyone's devices and purchasing the 2 year was a better deal.

I love it, fast scanning and it doesn't erase program like Norton does just because it doesn't recognize them. Got it for a great price when i bought my computer I believe i pay 20 - 30 dollar but so far is been a great investment to protect my files I am definetly buying this product again.

I've bought webroot several different times for different computers. We've never had any problems with it. I like the fact that it does all the work and I do nothing. We don't have to run updates, it does it on it's on. We have never had any problems with viruses. I highly recommend webroot.

This software came with my notebook purchase and it seems to do a good job of protecting my notebook. It is not too protective as is Norton but it has provided information when a site looked to be unsafe.

the only reason i give this 3 stars is because i didn't have to use it for my apple computers, otherwise, i know it works great for people with PCs

So before I could do anything, I made sure I got Antivirus program. The best deal is that it came as a package when I got my laptop and I'm fully functional and effective. I got what I needed.

My computer was hacked! Since I am a Geek Squad member, I immediately went into Best Buy for help. The Geek Squad agent recommended the Webroot Internet Security. I had him install it on my computer, iPad, and iPhone. I feel much more convenient that I am protected from the "bad guys."

Product was available at closest Best Buy store at the advertised price. Sales Clerk was not familiar with the item or the sale price, however, looked it up and found the optional case that was offered.

I was using another virus protection and when I took my laptop into the Geek squad because of issues, they found 11 virus! EEEK! So I am using Web Root now. It is so important to have software to protect my computer. I have been very pleased with this product. It gives me peace of mind.

They recommended this one and it's doing its job so far. I was paying others and was getting regular attacks. So time to switch. Very unobtrusive, in the background, which is what I like. I could care less that my PC was "safe" via nauseating popups and then get a virus it didn't catch...

I get Norton though my internet provider and it does a better job of protecting my computer. It cannot be ran in addition to Norton. They are not compatible.

I bought this anti-virus because I did not like Kaspersky. Kaspersky keep trying to get me to renew it even though I still had 2 years left. It keep minimizing my games and other aps. Where Webroot has NOT done any of that. It has been such a Great product if i buy an anti-virus again it will be webroot.

The Webroot product is priced right and does what I paid for. It does a great job finding and warning of a possible virus, but I still need to use a spyware program to clean spyware that Webroot missed.

I already had to use geek squad because my computer would not download and they did a fantastic job. No problems since then. I would recommend this product. The salesman said that he would sell me a new computer which I was intending to do but he told me to try this first. I am really satisfied. Thanks

Seems easy to use and the Best Buy dept Mrg indicated that he liked Webroot because it did not slow down the computer. I had a couple choices so I went with his suggestion, time will tell.

I really don't know if WebRoot is protecting my Desktop, I still have pop ups and such. I don't have a virtual keyboard anymore like I did with Kaspersky. So I guess it's ok but not worth 5 stars.

      Missy,

Generally popups are not cause by malicious applications, they are caused by Potentially Unwanted Applications that the user installs. Webroot will only remove bad programs on your computer so if you are seeing popups, and no threats are detected it is likely you are experiencing issues with PUAs.

We would advise contacting our support team so they can take a look at this for you.

Best Buy told us that the W Icon would be green when it is working. On the Apple it remains green, on the window it is gray. However, it seems to be running scans on a regular basis. Hopefully it is working!
